Review Policy

I am currently accepting works from all publishers and self-published authors as long as they fit my criteria, and are readily available to the public. 

I accept requests via email, Instagram, and Twitter.

Type of Books I Accept

My preferred genres for Adult Fiction, in the order of most loved, are:

• Literary
• Psychological Thriller
• Horror
• Contemporary
• Paranormal
• Science Fiction
• Historical Fiction
• Fantasy
• Women's Fiction

I do not review the following: Romance, Erotica, Biographies, or Autobiographies (though if your novel contains only some elements of these genres, I will consider them).

My preferred genres for YA Fiction, in the order of most loved, are:

• Thriller
• Fantasy
• Science Fiction
• Paranormal
• Dystopian
• Contemporary
• Historical

PREFERRED FORMAT: 

Major Publishers: Print copies, or invitations via Edelweiss or Netgalley

Self-Published Authors: Print copies only

In Your Request Email

Please provide the following (if applicable):

• Book cover
• Synopsis
• Link to Goodreads
• Links to purchase sites
• Your website

Please do not attach your book in any format within the initial request email. This is out of respect for both you and myself. If I think your book is something I will enjoy based on the synopsis, I will request a copy. I do not want to waste your time, nor will I waste mine.

My Review Posts
 
When- Titles that are readily available to the public will be reviewed the moment, or soon after I have read it unless otherwise requested. ARC reviews will be posted no more than 1 month before publication, or when requested to.

Where- I post all reviews on the following sites: This blog, Goodreads, Amazon, Indigo, Book Depository, and LibraryThing. I also link to my blog review on Twitter (please indicate any hashtags that you would like me to use when posting to). Please indicate if you would like reviews posted on any other sites.

I will cross-post a photo of the book and a small snippet of my review to my Bookstagram account. Please indicate if you would like anything special done for your book in these posts (including hashtags or account tagging).

How- I include the following in a review post:

• A picture of the book cover 
• 'Title', 'Author', 'Genre', 'Publisher', 'Release Date', 'How I acquired it', 'Goodreads link', 'Purchase links' (amazon Canada, Indigo, and Book Depository).
• Synopsis
• My personal, and honest thoughts/review
• My star rating (see below for an explanation of ratings)
• Author Bio
• A thank-you to the publisher (if applicable)

Why- I will never sacrifice my integrity as a blogger/reviewer in exchange for a free book or ebook. My reviews will always be my most honest, and straight-forward opinion of the content. I am extremely opposed to bashing authors. If I didn't enjoy your book, I will give you specific reasons why. I take pride in my review writing, and will always try to be as positive as possible.

RATING SYSTEM
